My team unlocked an insight that millions of people in the US were leaving the work force post-Covid to pursue creative endeavors that allowed them to work for themselves. This left them with no one to help them think through their specific money journeys: How do they save for overhead, retirement, emergency fund, etc? How do they budget to ensure they pay taxes and live the life they want?

Enter Creator Cache. This program started with extensive qualitative and quantitative research that lead us to create the first rewards program for Ally. The rewards program provides education on financial topics and new technologies that can help creators of all kinds earn more money. They are then rewarded with tools to help their creativity: Adobe software, Masterclass subscriptions and Calm subscriptions.

While we originally wanted this program to be built on blockchain technology, the regulatory environment of financial institutions caused us to reconsider and build our own internal ledger system to issue Cache passes and track rewards.

We promoted sign ups for this program across social sites like Reddit and Meta to find appropriate audiences and now have over 1500 creators as part of our Beta phase. We will continue to use this program to track insights on this growing audience to develop more products and services to meet their changing needs.
